Two days ago, through the afternoon/into the evening I was having sharp feeling pains in my anus. For about half an hour it felt itchy and then it stopped. The next mornings after this I've found thread/fibrous looking strands when wiping after a movement. They are about 1.5cm long, thin but not moving (sort of yellowy/off-white colour) I also have IBS but haven't experienced this before. I tend to obsess over my health and anything abnormal so I don't know if this is cause for concern. I also wondered if it could be strands of undigested turkey, as when I pulled a strand apart, it looked sort of furry? Sorry for being graphic :(
