What Can Be The Cause Of Elevated WBC Count ?

hi doc, i am 20yrs old male i got my hemogram done wher in my tlc is 16200 ,neutrophil is 12.3 ,lymphoytes are 13.2 and mocytes are 1.20 .i got panreatitis four months back which is normal now.please leme know the reason of elevated wbc. thanx.

Hi,
high TLC usually means there is an acute infection,common one are urinary tract,upper/lower respiratory,skin or soft tissue infections, abscess etc.It may be early feature of leukemia also,get consult with your doctor for proper work up to rule out any infection according to your symptoms and sign and get treatment accordingly.
