What Can Be Done For Non-healing Incisions After Breast Surgeries?

I had two breast surgeries with the same surgeon and since my second one, both incisions have busted open and will not close up after 5 wks of recovery, silver nitrate treatment and many other ointments. What can I do? My surgeon keeps telling me it supposed to do that???!!!

Dear madam i understand your concern. The main reson for non healing of skin is infection and poor approximation of the skin.my suggestion is to consult a plastic surgeon and plan for secondary suturing after controlling of treatment. The area like breast the skin will be tense and difficult to heal when left alone.New medicines like PDGF ointment can be tried for rapid healing....I suppose I have given the desired response if you have any other query please write back.
