Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
Erectional weakness in your Husband can be due to increase in blood sugar. He should get his blood sugar (F & PP) tested. And if it is normal, he can consult a Physician for prescription of drugs to correct erectional weakness. Your husband is probably suffering with Inguinal hernia, which requires surgical correction, meanwhile he can use hernia prevention belt. Inguinal hernia has no direct relation with erectile weakness of penis.
Wish your husband good health.
