What Besides Pregnancy Could Be The Reason For Fluttering And Sudden Jolt Movements In The Abdomen ?

What could be causing movements in my abdomen that feel like baby kicks? I have not taken a pregnancy yet but haven t had a period for several months. I know it isn t gas or any other type of stomach discomfort (it feels completely different from that). it is more a feeling of fluttering & sudden jolt movements.

Hello;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
The movements in abdomen can be due to intestinal movements called peristalsis also but since you have not had periods in several months you need to get a ultrasound done to find the reason.Please get a ultrasound done to rule out pregnancy and if you are not pregnant then it should be intestinal movements.
Thanks
