What Are The Withdrawal Symptoms Of Quitting Abilify?

Yes please I hope so. If someone is on Abilify for about a year and a half and they get taken off it what can the side effects be when they take you off? My Dad was on it for depression and now is in a Nursing home and they are changing his medicine he is an 84 yr. old man

Withdrawal symptoms for abilify include insomnia, tiredness, nausea, vomiting, depression, suicidal thoughts and hallucinations.
But whether someone will develop these symptoms depend on the individual's physiology, how long has been on medication,dose of abilify, whether the medication is tapered off/ stopped cold turkey, and what other medication is started in place of abilify.
I'd recommend that you work with treating doctor to discuss any if withdrawal symptoms were to occur.
