HELLO dOCTOR IAM 17 WEEK PREGNANT AND I WAS TOLD TO TAKE EPAU WITHOUT ANY SYMPTOMS BLEEDING, PAIN OR ANYTHING IS IT SAFE TO TAKE EPAU? AND I WAS TOLD THAT IAM HAVING LOW LYING PLACENTA , WILL THIS AFFECT MY PREGNANCY? AND IAM SUFFERING SEVEARE PAIN FROM PELVIC GRIDLE PAIN SINCE MY FIRST TRIMESTER PLEASE DO ADVISE HOW TO TREAT THIS? tHANKS

I uderstand your concern, EPAU i think it mean Early pregnancy assesment unit its nice to you have been booked under EPAU it will take care of early pregnancy complication, like any bleeding etc. Dear low lying placenta at 17 weeks of gestation does not have any significance because in 90% cases it will move upward till term . Dear take slight precaution like avoid lifting heavy weight, do not wear heals etc ALL THE BEST FOR PREGNANCY.
