Phentermine is a stimulant similar to an amphetamine. It acts as an appetite suppressant by affecting the central nervous system. There are many causes of weight gain such as increased food consumption without increasing physical activity, high junk food, Cushing’s syndrome, and hypothyroidism. There are many more uncommon causes. Phentermine is used together with diet and exercise to treat obesity (overweight) in people with risk factors such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes. But phentermine may be habit forming. Phentermine should be taken only for a short time, such as a few weeks.
Advice
1.     Exercise – start workout in gym at least for half an hour for 4 – 5 days in a week regularly.
2.     Avoid high energy foods such as cakes, chocolates, chips etc.
3.     Avoid alcohol/beer and smoking. Alcohol will increase side effects caused by phentermine
4.     Increase consumption of high fiber diet such as wheat bread, dry date, vegetables etc
5.     Drink 3 – 4 liters of water daily
6.     Divide your meals into smaller portions. Do not consume heavy meal at a time
7.     Avoid oily & spicy food
Thanks
