What Are The Uses And Side Effects Of Desoximetasone Cream?
i have been prescribed DESOXIMETASONE for a rash on my leg that will not go away ( predisone shot and 10 day run of prednisone pills) over 6 weeks. Dermatologist took biopsy of area today and asked if i had ever had the shingles. Does DESOXIMETASONE treat the shingles? the area is painful especially when water hits it, headaches and nausea also. Thanks

Hello.Stinging after applying the cream or skin atrophy if the cream is used for long periods are more common side effects of Desoximetasone.The cream is suitable for treating rash but if the rash persists after taking corticosteroid by mouth (Prednisone) is difficult to improve with corticosteroid cream.
