Hello,
Your systolic BP is still high and you should take clonidine tonight if you have no difficulty with it. What medicines have you been on for blood pressure? Clonidine is a medicine that can produce a rebound in the blood pressure when it is stopped . There are so many safer medicines for blood pressure and I do not normally treat my patients these days with clonidine on a long term basis.
You should see a doctor regularly and try to get your blood pressure under 140/90 gradually. You should also have investigations to see if the high blood pressure has produced any harm to your kidneys and heart. You should also try to control the risk factors for high blood pressure and heart disease.
If you further queries, I am available to answer.
