What Are The Treatments For Recurring Cough?

Hi Dr. i have been suffering with sever cough from close to 2 months now. I have been given different antibiotics and syrups to subside the cough bt no use.I had a chest xray and blood test done all seemed normal.But no change in my situation very bad cough especially at bed time nd early morning also feel tired easily and short of breath. I have recently started taking montair LC tablet and i see a great relief can u tell me whtas d problme adn whats d long term solution

Hello!
If you have undergone tests and the reports are all normal then there isn't anything to worry about. The fact that the cough has responded to anti allergic medication is an indication that it is more likely to be a allergy issue. I would recommend that you identify the cause for allergy and take necessary steps to control it. The same tablet can be yake for ten days. Beyond that it is better you meet a pulmonologist.
