What Are The Treatments For Placenta Previa And Is Travelling Recommended?

hi i am 23 week pregnant i had an ultrasound for fetal well being my report says that
placenta is normal in echotexture and is located posteriorly extending to internal os and partially covering it.
fetal measurements are:
BPD: 5.3 CM
FL: 3.6 CM
please tell me doc is it serious case can't my placenta be at its normal position in entire pregnancy??
please tell me how to cure placenta previa.
what are the precautions to be taken??
is travelling is safe??
i am not a smoker ,haven't take cocaine etc
this is my first pregnancy
i dont have any abortion or Cesarian
what can be the reason behind that??
my age is 23 years

Dear member,
Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
please don't worry. It's a common condition in pregnancy. As you are only 23 weeks of gestation now I have seen that in a majority of my patients the scan at term will show that the placenta has moved up.
There is no drug to treat this. I would recommend you to avoid travel, intercourse.
repeat scan at 34 weeks. If still problem persists then you will require caesarean section.
