Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my daughter is hooked on methadone and is getting it off the street. I have tried to talk her into getting help. she will not even admit what she is doing. her ex-boyfiend confided to me that they were both taking methadone and when he got caught with the drug and stealing at the same time he finally got help. he could not convince her to get help. she has stolen almost all my good jewelry and pawned it and will still not admit she is on drugs. she is also a compulsive liar and has been all her life. I am very worried she will get her hands on some drug that will harm her or that she will get arrested, beat up, you name t. she is 28, has a nine-year old son and lives with me and her father. I do not know what to do or where to turn. I am so worried it is hard for me to function at home - let alone at work. t
