What Are The Tests To Confirm PCOD?

Hi, I am 28 years old. My periods have become irregular since Jan 2014. I was on Yasmin Ocp for 10 months. After stopping that 3 cycles were regular but later on could not get periods naturally. Had to take meprate to induce and this time again its already more than 45 days. Urine pregnancy test showed negative. what would be the reason for delay. what remedy/tests should I take as I am planning to conceive. I have slight thyroid of 6.5 for which I am taking 25 mcg thyronorm. Also cholestrol levels are more. Could I have pcod? What tests should be taken to confirm this.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if you have taken hormone medicine for contraceptive purpose then it is very likely that you may have irregular menses now do not take any medicine and just wait for some time it will be okay on its own because it is physiological phenomenon may not need any medicine, for the PCOD ultrasonography is the test can be tired, hope this information helps.
