Hi, Many thyroid cancers are slow growing. It is not clear what type of thyroid cancer you have. In certain situations like in a pregnancy etc, we often wait many months before doing surgery. There may not be symptoms if the tumour is small. Some type of thyroid cancers secrete few hormones ( like Medullary Thyroid cancer) which can cause palpitations, flushing etc. But that is rare. Most common symptom is presence of thyroid swelling. Some people may have hoarse voice, difficulty in swallowing, etc. My advice would be that , please dont panic. Many thyroid tumours are slow growing and can be cured too
