Hello, and I hope I can help you today.

Any woman who is having unprotected intercourse is at risk for pregnancy.

However, pregnancy symptoms vary widely between women, and many of the symptoms we usually associate with pregnancy like bloating, breast tenderness, nausea, fatigue, spotting and mood changes can happen in cases of hormonal imbalances as well as pregnancy.

The most common (and reliable) sign of pregnancy is missing your period.

So, if you are not yet due for your period, I suggest you wait until it is due, and at that time if you are late, perform a urine pregnancy test. A pregnancy test will only become positive at least 3 weeks after conception.

I hope I was able to adequately answer your question today and that my advice was helpful.

Best wishes,

Dr. Brown
