1 m 25 year male.what is symptoms of jaundices and what is check the component in blood . Tell me, indigestion and Gerd both are same symptoms.

Symptoms of jaundice include, loss of appetite,nausea vomiting,dark urine
stomach discomfort or pain.may or may not be fever.The minimum reports intially
one should get done is., serum bilirubin, sgot, and HbsAg. thanks.

Jaundice is yellowing of eyes , skin, urine etc. due to liver affected by infection also called as viral hepatitis.
Early symptoms are fever, weakness, nausea, vomiting, pain in abdomen , decreased appetite etc.
Later on there may be yellow skin , eyes urine and swelling of liver, seen as abdominal distended.
Blood test is liver function tests mainly sgot ,sgpt ,bilirubin. viral markers for hepatitis virus may be done.
