What Are The Symptoms Of Hypothyroidism?

Hi, I just purchased some ashwaghanda. I have fibro and hypothroid, not really sure if it s hasimotos or not. been on medication for the thyroid issue for 42 years. I am 60 years old and just so tired of not having any energy and dealing with the fibro fog and my mood swings I thought the ashwaghanda might help. any advice?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

Your symtoms can be from hypothyroidism. For that I suggest you to investigate with serum TSH estimation and free T4 estimation. If hypothyroidism present than levothyroxine should be started. Dose of it adjusted According to TSH level. For hashimoto thyroiditis anti microsomal antibody and anti thyrogloblulin estimation can be done. No need to try any other medicines as per my opinion.
