Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
what are the symptoms for hypertension? I donated blood on Saturday and was told my blood pressure was 176 over 93. I normally have low bp 90/60 so I was a little stunned. today I took my pressure (with a portable machine) and it was 178/107 and 202/100 (I took it in my left arm first and then my right arm.
If blood pressure increases gradually during months and years it can cause no symptoms. Once and twice measured high blood pressure doesn't mean you have arterial hypertension. I would advise you to measure your blood pressure during a week and if there high data refer to cardiologist. In case of very high blood pressure data from 3 measures done with 1minutes untervals (190-200), I would advise you to refer to doctor immediately
Hope I could help you
