Went back for bp CK5 days later still high.. he put me on 10 mg. Started to cough and had slight shortness of breath, He had me discontinue LisinoprilBP still very high he put me on Losartan 25mg. Went back for BP check bp still high,.. he put me on 50 mg. Still high..went back on Friday April7th he upped med to 100 mg. With 12.5 mg of hydrochlorothiazide..Still high today 208/123...These meds haven t done anything to lower my bp. I am going back to dr. This afternoon 2:00(pst)The strange thing is I have no symptoms??? I am 5 5 130 lbs., been in excellent health, on NO meds up till this, I exercise, do yogi, eat well. I m very aware of my body and feel there is an underlying issue driving my bp up....I did have kidney stone on June of 2016.. Thinking I may have a kidney/renal issue. No back pain, urinaation is normal.I m stumped and getting very concerned!Had blood work on 3/24..Potassium. 4.6 men/l ALT 36/U/l Creatinine .68 mg Any Thoughts???

Hello, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
From my experience as a physician, patients with your type of symptoms have what we call "Resistant hypertension". This is a type of hypertension that can not be easily controlled by 1 or 2 medications, rather 3 or more medications.
I usually advise my patients to go for further tests like ultrasound of kidney, ECG, blood tests for creatinine, sodium etc. in this case, to see if there is a secondary cause of hypertension. I advise you to discuss this with your physician. Get well soon
