What Are The Symptoms Of Black Worm In Urine?

Hi, I am a 21 year old girl and I am not sure if I have black worm in my urine or was it already present in the commod. It has happened just once before about six to seven years ago and I wasnt sure then either. I dont really have abdominal pains as such except during periods or bloating due to excessive eating. Are there any particular symptoms I could look out for to confirm the fact that I may or may not have worms.

Hi,

I can understand your concern. I advise you to keep observing your urine now on. Flush toilet once before you use it so confusion of presence of worm in urine or toilet can be solved. In addition, if possible, use a small strainer to urinate so that if a worm is present, it can be sent to lab for examination.

I would also advise you to send urine for analysis for parasites in urine. In addition, you can also get a blood test for complete blood count. If the eosinophil counts will come high, it will indicate parasitic infection. Medicines can be started based on the reports.
