Dear- thanks for giving us the opportunity to advise you about medical problems. Bacterial gastroenteritis gives symptoms of diarrhea, vomit, fever, abdominal pain, all of them bringing the patient to a very sick state. However, your symptoms has been over 6 weeks, which requires more workup, including a colonoscopy for a direct visualization of your intestines to get a correct diagnose. Other possibilities as colitis , malabsorption syndrome ,lactose intolerance and gluten enteropathy should be considered.
I hope that my advise has been helpful
