Hello
Asthma:Airways hyperresponsiveness that is secondary to inflammatory disease that results in recurrent or chronic episodes of WHEEZE, SHORTNESS of BREATH, CHEST TIGHTNESS &/or COUGH particularly at night or in the early morning .
==Asthma sufferers may complain of variety of symptoms ,none of which is specific for asthma
.Wheeze
.SOB (shortness of breath)
.cough
.chest tightness.
Symptoms are usually associated w/airflow obstruction;obstruction is often reversible either spontaneously or w/treatment.
These symptoms tend to be intermittent , variable , worse at night 7 provoked by triggers ;e.g exercise .
Diagnosis can be confirmed by spirometry and measurement of lung function test .
So above mentioned symptoms and tests will decide that you are having asthma or not.
Hope this will help you.
