I think I has an anxiety attack today while at the movie theater. I was siting down and I was not feeling right to begin with. But my body did start to feel numb and I felt like I was getting tired. I started to get worried because it felt like my heart was going to stop at any second so I took my pulse but checking on my wrist and I couldn t feel it so all the sudden I felt a light sensation in my chest and my hands got very sweaty. Could that be anxiety?
Probably you suffered a panic attack. People with panic disorder have sudden and repeated attacks of fear that last for several minutes. Sometimes symptoms may last longer. These are called panic attacks. Panic attacks are characterized by a fear of disaster or of losing control even when there is no real danger. Advice 1. Tablet Lonazep 0.25 mg (Clonazepam 0.25 mg) daily at bed time per oral for 1 month 2. Tablet Pari 20 mg (paroxetine 20 mg) daily per oral at bed time for 1 month 3. Discuss with your family about your problem 4. Do not stay alone, be with your family/spouse 5. Try to repeatedly expose with the situation which predisposes a panic attack. It will make you adaptable to the situation and will not cause further panic attack Sometimes, some pathological conditions cause panic attack. I have to rule out those causes by investigations 1. ECG 2. Blood sugar (F & PP) 3. Measure your blood pressure regularly Thanks
