What Are The Symptoms Of HIV?

My Friend had oral sex and fingering on 9th oct....but while figering blood came on his hand....as he said there were no open wound on his hand/finger...and he got tested on 17th Nov..somewhat after 38 days..and result got negative...but from 16th Nov he is getting body/muscle pain..and sore on palm/bottom of feet .....and still he has all above sysmtom...are these symptom of hiv .....plz answer...he is in very bad conditon as he has scared that he has infected....he stopped going out and his work even....i m just helping to get tseted again but he is scating lot...

HIV has long incubation period means symptoms take along time to develop after getting infection.

This is flu like symptoms and take symptomatic management.

In testing accurate results are coming after 3 month of infection.

If require then go for p24antigen study then ELISA after 3 months.

But no need to worry.

Use protection and have a safe sex.
