What Are The Symptoms Of COPD?

I HAVE BEEN TREATED FOR BRONCHITUS ON AND OFF FOR NEARLY A YEAR. IT HAS NEVER REALLY WENT AWAY. MY HEAD ALWAY FEEL SLIGHTLY STUFFY, CHEST AND BREATHING FEELS HEAVY AT TIMES, COUGHING PRODUCES CLEAR PHLEGM, I FEEL TIRED ALOT. I HAVE HAD 3 DIFFERENT ANTIBIOTICS, NUMEROUS BREATHING TREATMENTS AND EVEN ALLERGY MEDICINE. I HAVE SMOKED ABOUT A PACK A WEEK ON AND OFF FOR 30 YEARS. I AM THINKING MAYBE COPD? THE NUMEROUS DOCTORS HAVE SAID MY LUNGS SOUND CLEAR AND I HAVE NO WEEZING.

Sir I understand your concern for your health condition. COPD is a gradually developing disease. It can not be diagnosed only by symptoms. Symptoms of both Asthma and COPD are more or less the same. I would suggest to consult your doctor and get it evaluated in detail and if require do pulmonary function tests to diagnose and differentiate between asthma and COPD. As COPD can happen without wheezing. So i would suggest to consult your doctor. I hope i have satisfied your queries.
