i think i may have impetigo. but i am 41 yrs old. i did work as a preschool RN most recently but it has been at least a few weeks since my last day there. also, i am a LMT - is it possible that this is what it is. i ended up going to prompt care bc my glands under my chin swelled up so bad the morning after i had squeezed the area, thinking it was only a zit. i am just worried about MRSA and STAPH infection....i don t like taking abx if i do not have to due to allergies. right now, i have been using tea tree oil. what do you think? thank you oh and whatever i have itches really bad!!!
You seem to have impetigo and contact allergic dermatitis. Kindly consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.
You may take antibiotics like cefixime 200 mg twice day. For relief of itching, you may add antihistaminics like levocetirizine . Apply antibiotic cream on impetigo and mild steroid cream on the lesions of allergy.
I hope this would help.
Thanks.
