What Are The Symptoms And Treatment For UTI?

I think I may have a uti. Last week I had what felt like a stitch in my side like from running. I had it for a few days. Then my lower back on the left side started hurting. I have had a uti before about twelve years ago. It is really feeling like that again.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. You should get a urine routine examination to find out signs of infection like excess of puss cells. If it is positive in my patients i treat with antibiotics like norfloxacin empirically and send urine for culture and sensitivity and change antibiotic if necessary after getting the culture report.I also recommend them to drink barley water or cranberry juice for alkalizing urine.Potassium citrate is also helpful.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further queries.
I find this answer helpful
