What Are The Suggestions For High Blood Sugar?

Dr. Grief after a weekend with out of town guests and too much food and alcohol [not in a drunken stupor] I have eliminated all carbs from my diet yet I remain in the high 200 to high 300 blood sugar range. On Monday AM I was at 98 for breakfast had eggbeaters and 3 turkey link sausage and at 10:30 was at 350 same today. Any thoughts?

Dear sir

The following suggestions are advised for high blood sugars.

Blood sugars are variable due to life style activities like alcohol consumption, Small amount of alcohol causes fall in blood sugars but when taken in high amounts then it will rise the sugars.

You really need to review your medication because your blood sugars are not in control.

So start basal insulin like NPH or Glargine at bed times.

Thanks
