What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Hernia?

I was wondering what exactly are the signs and symptoms of a hernia. I think my husband might have a hernia but he is being stubborn and is refusing to go to a dr. And I thought I might be able to convince him to go if he realizes the symptoms. Thank you Christy Reynolds

Hernia are a lot of differnt places to involve. So the signs and symptoms are different for Umbilical hernia, Hiatal hernia, inguinal hernia, scrotal hernia, direct and Indirect inguinal hernia, femoral hernia. All have different sites to involve and so are the different symptoms. One thing that is common is the outpouching (bulging sac) thats seen by naked eyes on site of protrusion of abdominal contents outside abdominal wall. Pain, nausea vomiting,bowel obstruction etc etc many symptoms are faced by patients.
