my daughter is daiglonised with hsp and she has a protein creatinine ratio of 2.58 she is 6 years and c3 report and other reports were normal.She is 29kg.daughter has prescribed wysoline 30mg for 1 week. and now he has asked to continue the same dosage for 2 more weeks later on he is planning to tapper the same and continue for 2-3 months as she has plenty of rbc s in her urine and albumin 3+ of what are the side effects? this medicin on kids

Wysolone is a steroid and is the only available option for many life threatening diseases.
Long term use can result in hormone disturbances, weight gain, cataracts, diabetes, hair growth and weak bones.
In you child's case, as tapering will be done shortly, no side effects will be there, so no worries to you.
