What Are The Side Effects Of Using IC NYSTATIN Cream For Rashes?

Hello, I grabded the wrong tube of medication I am currently using IC HYDROCORTISONE VAL 0.200% for a rash on my neck and chest, I accidentaly grabbed the IC NYSTATIN 100,000 UNIT/GM CREAM and put it an my chest and neck is this going to have a bad side effect?

Sorry I bothered you, I am currenly not employed and I have NO money, I will just keep an eye on my rash and hope it gets better

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

Hydrocortisone is a topical steroid whereas Nystatin is a topical anti-fungal cream. Topical antifungals can have irritation and redness as the most common side effect but the frequency of this to happen is like 1 in 1000. So, the chances are miniscule that you will have any redness or irritation to it. However, if in case you develop any irritation or redness you should see a doctor immediately.
