What Are The Side Effects Of Tricort Surgery?

Hello Doctor, I'm samuel and 32 years old. In recent years i lost so much of hair on my face and also lost till my top head. Recently, doctor suggested me to go for tricort on the hair lost places. But, i'm very much afraid whether it may lead any other side effects.

hi, welcome to HCM,
tricort has a lot of side effects.
Injections can occasionally cause some thinning or changes in the colour of the skin at the injection site, with stronger preparations. Indentation of skin around injection site can occur.
triamcinolone inj given for alopecia areata is in very low dose 3mg/ml and if given carefully(intralesional by dermatologist) very less or no side effect occurs. in my opinion go for it.

hope this is helpful.
thanks
