What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Vyvanse Capsule?

My son takes one 20mg Vyvanse capsule once a day in the am before school. He is 9 years old 65 pounds and in good health. He started taking this med only about 5 months ago. We have not seen any serious side effects, thankfully :) although we see that it affects his appetite a little bit. It has helped him to be better able to focus, work and complete assignments and tasks in school. My question is this; Is there over the counter meds for cough, cold, stuffy nose that he should NOT have when he is on Vyvanse ? Is it safe for him to take a decongestant and or antihistamine ?
thank you, Jennifer Simmons (Shane's mom)

Hello
It is good that Vyvanse is helping your kid. I don't think there is any issue with decongestants or antihistamines, while on this med. Appetite suppression is temporary so relax.
