What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Metformin With Lovastatin And Invokana?
I am a diabetic with an A1C of 7.8 taking Metformin ER 500mg, Lovastatin 40 mg, Lisinopril 2.5 mg & now my doctor has placed me on Invokana 100 mg on last Thursday. I fell tired, my personalty is subdued, i also keep a dull headache. What are the side effects of all these medicines & are they necessary to lower my blood sugar levels as well as cholesterol & protect my kidneys? What other options do I have. Thank you Mary Bell

there are many side effects. you are having some of them..
they are not serious ones.
as you say A1C is 7.8..which is still not in normal range..
you have to continue this combination atleast for a month then repeat test.
and modify doses according to reports
