What Are The Side Effects Of Prednisone On Heart Rate?
I had the flu about 3 weeks ago, which resulted in vertigo. I was put on 2 weeks of antibiotics. For about 4 days I was very nauseous and dizzy. Taking antivert eased the nausea. I was still dizzy and it felt like my right ear was under water. I have now been put on prednisone, because I was told I have damage to the nerve in the ear. What does prednisone do and are there side effects on heartrate?

Prednisone can cause either bradycardia or tachycardia.
Also it can raise the blood pressure if used for long term.
