What Are The Side Effects Of Oral Sex?

About a week and a half ago, my monogamous partner gave me oral sex. Neither of us have done anything of the sort before, with each other or anybody else. She had made a few red spots under the tip and on the shaft of my penis with her teeth. They were not very painful, but were slightly red. My penis experienced a slight irritation afterwords. As of about 3-4 days following, I have developed what seems like jock itch. I can t be completely sure, but I ve had jock itch before, and although it was a while ago, I remember it feeling about the same. It itches, there are slight red spots where her teeth had marked, and the skin under the head of my penis has a very small amount of dry, peeling, skin. I got some cream from the store for jock itch and have been using it twice a day since. It helps and stops the itching completely for about 6 hours or so, and then I put more on. I m guessing jock itch because of the symptoms and my stupidity in not washing afterwords. In fact, I didn t take a shower the next day because I had to rush out the door in the morning. I m thinking it was the saliva acting like water does when you don t dry off down there. My question: is this jock itch, or something else that I should be more concerned about?

Hello sir and welcome.

As soon as I started reading your query I wondered whether or not you washed after the act. And towards the end, you mentioned that you hadnt.

Well your diagnosis is either a jock itch or a fungal infrction (more likely). Fungi grow and thrive in moist surroundings and your genitalia would have been the perfect place for it to do that. It would be best to visit a doctor for a physical examination as we need to first confirm the diagnosis and then take it from there.

In the meantime, avoid sexual contact in all forms and keep the affected regioj dry and clean. Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
