What Are The Side Effects Of Hysterectomy Surgery?

I just had hysterctomy surgery yesterday, I still have my ovaries. While I was in the hospital, I was on a morphine pump and now that I m home, my skin is red like a mild sunburn and a little warm to the touch. What could this be? Is it a normal side effect of the surgery?
