Hi I recently just took Excedrin a couple weeks ago, but within a couple hours I had severe stomach pains and I had diarrhea the whole day. My menstrual cycle ended on June 27th, but I took the Excedrin on June 25th so my period wasn t all the way completed after my 8 day cycle. Then on July 3rd which was the next Thursday I started to have some very mild bleeding with cramps and upper stomach pains and discomfort in the left side of my hip felt inflamed. I am not pregnant I use oral contraceptives I haven t had intercourse since almost a couple months ago so I am not worried about being pregnant, but I am just worried about the bleeding. I went to the Doctor and they made me take a pregnancy test which came back normal (like I said I am not worried) that very night and they prescribed me Medroxyprogesterone and Doxycycline. I am still bleeding so I am a little concerned but the cramping stopped within hours after starting the medicines. I am just not sure if the Excedrin really injured my stomach and I am just paying for that along with the stress I have been having from work and personal life?
