Hello and welcome to HCM,
The enlarged PSA level is increased in various conditions of prostate.
Prostatic enlargement, prostatitis, and prostatic carcinoma are the causes which cause elevation of PSA.
The normal level of PSA is below 4pg/dl.
Cancer of prostate leads to elevation of PSA levels more than 10 pg/dl.
Level up to 10 pg/dl is commonly seen in benign prostatic hyperplasia.
However, biopsy is required for making a confirmed diagnosis.
The procedure is a quick and has negligible side effects.
If pain and infection occur, drugs will be prescribed.

Thanks and take care
