Hi, I am Abha. I am 33 years old and unmarried. I am in a healthy relationship with my boyfriend. I had been diagnosed with PCOD and was on Yamini for a while, but due to my break through bleeding my gynaec had put me on Nogestol. I have been on this medication for two months now. The first time i had an intake of the tabs and was done through the 21 days cycle, i got my cycles immediately. But now i am done with my second round of tabs and still no sign of menstruation. Am i pregnant? Doctor please help me with my answers. I finished my tabs on the 12th of this month. Thanks much Abha
Hi Abha, Welcome to healthcaremagic. You are having PCOD, so it is quite possible that your periods are irregular due to that but you are getting a reasonably good treatment to control PCOD so you might be getting ovulation and I think you are not using dependable contraception; Then it is quite possible that your periods are delayed due to pregnancy. A very pragmatic advice would be to get urine pregnancy test done and get a review by your gynecologist with reports. A still another possibility is that it can be harmonal imbalance due to external harmons that have been given to you for PCOD. I hope the advice will be helpful for you.
