Thank you, i have been prescribed Victoza, currently on 1.2 but with aim for 1.8. However, i am having side effect of nausea and general malaise. I am also on Humalin I and Humalin M3 which has been reduced from 2 injections of 30 units (both I and M3) therefore reduced from 120 units a day to 70. My glucose levels are a little better, now around 12-15 mmol whereas before my levels were 17-30 plus. My last Hba1c was 97. Do you think Victoza is an appropriate medication for me, will the benefits outweigh the side effects i keep hearing about. I am very over weight at 18 stone, 5ft 11, female and 51 years old.
