What Are The Side Effects Of Tranostat?
Hi iam 42 yrs old...ihave regular periods but have heavy bleeding and severe unbearable pain during the 2nd and the 3rd day...doctor prescribed Tranostat MF twice from the 1st day of the cycle...are ther any side effects if i use this drug every month for 4 days?

Hello,
It is tranexamic acid is used to decrease the bleeding,but it has its own side effects,it can cause thromboembolism,loose motions,dizziness,hyperplasia (increase cell growth) in uterus,and can effect kidney (haematuria).
if you get any of above symptom you should stop the medicine and discuss further with doctor.
