What Are The Side Effects Of Tramadol?

I get very jittery and hyped up on Tramadol. I take it for a RTA accident, my collarbone was broken in two places. Been prescribed Tramadol for the pain as I cannot afford to be put off work but its making me really hyper and shaky like I ve just drank 10 espressos in one go. Is this normal?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are given tramadol for pain and you took it in overdose. Well as such it is not known to cause any damage to liver although it is also metabolized through liver and known to increase serum aminotransferase , but not in a dangerous level. It is known to cause acute liver failure when taken overdose , which can be even fatal sometimes. it can cause loss of concentration in overdosage. In case of overdose it can also do respiratory failure , but as far as normal recommended dose is concern it is not harmful . If your are countering any problem after you start taking tramadol then consult your doctor and discuss the situation with him or her .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
