Hello dear user!
Welcome to HCM and thank you for sharing your concerns with us!

I understand your concerns and the situation you are in.
Paxil (paroxetine) is an antidepressant drug (SSRI class). It is used to treat depression, anxiety disorders, stress, etc.

You have to be careful with this drug, because it should not be taken together with drugs like thioridazine, pimozide, or blue methylene.
Sometimes this drug may have side effects such as dizziness, confusion, agitation, imbalance, poor coordination, convulsions, fevers, etc.

If you have symptoms like that you should stop the medication and talk immediately with your doctor who has prescribed the medication to adjust the dose or change the therapy if needed.

Do not take drugs called "MAO inhibitors" if you are taking Paxil as well.
This class includes: isocarboxazid, phenelzine, tranylcypromine, selegiline, etc.

I hope you will be fine soon.
Take care and all the best!
DR ERIOL.
