What Are The Side Effects Of Neopeptine On Infants Suffering From Colic?

My 8week old baby is so colic,I have tried most anti colic which didn't work well.finally the paedetrician prescribed neopeptine drops worked.my question is what are the adverse effect especially in long term use.
Two,I might have given my baby more drops than required,he is still sleepy what do I do

I think there is no harm in giving neopeptine. As one of the ingredient Simethicone reduces flatulance and may make the baby to pass the gas easily. Other inredients are small amount of oil extracts from some indian spices.
Baby might me more sleepy possibly because of poor sleep from colic. If continues to be more sleep please get the baby checked by your paediatrician.
