What Are The Side Effects Of Misoprostol Pills?
I completed a medical abortion at home and took the first pill with the doctor on monday and then took the 4 misoprostol pills by mouth for 30 min and then swallowed the remaining on tuesday night. About and hour and a half later after taking those 4 pills i ended up vomiting a couple of times and then stopped. The bleeding started about an hourish after i took the pills and the cramping started about 30 min after i took the pills. Could the vomiting possibly make the pill less effective causing it not to work? Its been about three days and im still bleeding but my breasts are still sore and still hurt and im worried if it didnt work. Is that possible?

It is very difficult to predict whether complete abortion has taken place or not.
The best is to wait for 2 weeks and then get an ultrasound abdomen done to look for any evidence of retained products of conception ( RPOC ) .
In case there is no RPOC,then it means medical abortion is complete.
In case RPOC is present,then you have to go for surgical removal of RPOC.
