What Are The Side Effects Of Levoflaxacinn?

well i have taken levoflaxacinn500 mg 7 pill cassue doctor told me its for bronchitus and it has pains in joints side effect, well i took the 7 fine but the pains in joints didnt come for two weeks later?? is it from this medication

I appreciate your concern for the joint pains following the use of Levofloxacin.

The most common and important side effects of levofloxacin are:
Abdominal discomfort, nausea, loose motions, and allergic rash when expose to sun.

Other less common but serious side effects are:
Arthropathy: Damage the growing cartilage in children
Tendonitis: may cause tendon rupture in adults causing joint pains.

Risk factors for tendonitis:

Age greater than 60 years, corticosteroid therapy, renal failure, diabetes mellitus, and a history of musculoskeletal disorders

Time taken to develop the tendonitis (joint pains) has been reported to be a few hours to months during the therapy after few weeks of discontinuing the therapy.
