What Are The Side Effects Of Gemzar, Oxaliplatin And Rituxin?
I am interested in information on the side effects of Gemzar, Oxaliplatin and Rituxin chemotheraphy treatments. proposed every 21 days. My mother has STage4-A Large cell B lymohoma and at this time on her pet scan it is only seen in the bones, almost the entire spine and joionts of extremities. Her first Lymphoma was 2 yrs ago but she has opted to do a more gentle chemo route this time. I just wonder if it really will be more gentle side effects???

hello there, gemcitabine side effects include anemia (65%) , pain, fever (40-50%) , blood in urine in 30% patients.oxaliplatin more commonly cause periferal neuropathies in 70% patients, anaemia, abdominal pain, fatigue nausea, vomiting etc.rituximab can cause angioedema,pain , dizziness in 10-12% patients.
