What Are The Side Effects Of Eliquis Tablet?

Eliquis is causing muscular weakness and numbing, at least I think it is eliquis, which I have just been taking a few weeks. Is this a danger, or just effect? I mentioned it to the doctor (the weakness, at the time I did not know the connection). He did not make any comment or connection. I will call him Monday. I will cut usage in half now.... that should not matter for 1 day

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

APIXABAN is an anti-coagulant mainly acts by inhibiting the clotting factor in the blood.

It is indicated to prevent blood clots formation who have increased chances due to diabetes or atherosclerosis and deep vein thrombosis.

Muscle pain and numbness may not be due to the tablet.

Most dangerous side effects are due to increased bleeding tendency in spine and brain, but very rare.
So you can continue the tablet with out fear for your symptoms.

Your symptoms are due to general weakness, take a multi vitamin tablet.

Do not discontinue the tablet with out doctor advice.

Consult the doctor immediately if you have any other symptoms like ..
-blood in cough
-blood in stool
-sudden severe headache
-sudden join swelling and pain
